1.1 Application to participate to the DO School’s projects shall be governed by the present Conditions of Application. These Conditions shall apply to the exclusion of all other conditions. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted, without reserve, the present Conditions of Application.
1.2 By using this website, you also accept and agree to be bound by our privacy conditions. The DO School invites you to read them carefully before using this Website.
1.3 The DO School reserves the right, at any time, to modify the present Conditions of Application by posting a new dated version on this website. By placing your application after the DO School has posted a new version of its Conditions of Application, you agree to be bound by that updated version.
2.1 When you register on this website, you must ensure that the mandatory application information you provide is correct and complete.
2.2 Please inform The DO School about changes of address or other modifications by updating your personal details.
3. Applicant Code
3.1 When registering on this website, you will be asked to create an account. An automatic code will be sent to you which you can use to access your account and to complete your application. You must keep this code strictly confidential and not disclose it or share it with anyone.
3.2 You are fully responsible for the use of your code and any orders placed under it, even without your knowledge.
3.3 If you know or suspect that someone else knows or has used your code, you should notify the DO School immediately.
4.1 By registering you apply to participate in a DO School program with a specifically selected Challenge as described on this website.
4.2 Applying for a DO School program does not create any contractual relationship between the DO School and the applicant and does not grant any right to participate in any program of the DO School.
4.3 Applications will be processed within four to six weeks after the application deadline. Selected applicants will receive a written confirmation from the DO School.
4.4 The written confirmation of the DO School does not create any contractual relationship between the DO School and the applicant. A contractual relationship between the DO School and the applicant is conditioned upon a written agreement. No contractual relationship between the retained applicant and the DO School will be in force before a written agreement is in place.
4.5 The DO School does not guarantee that a program for which an application has been submitted or even retained will effectively take place and will be undertaken. After application results, the program may be dropped for any reason the DO School has no obligation to disclose.
4.6 The DO School shall not be held liable in case the program is dropped after the application deadline and the applicant has been retained. Applicants retained by the DO School have no right against the DO School.
4.7 Application results are secret and applicants have no right to obtain or contest these results.
4.8 Applicants have no right of recourse against the application results.
4.9 Applications for Challenges delivered in Berlin, Germany are submitted and handled via the DO School gGmbH in partnership with the DO School Innovation Lab GmbH and are subject to the Conditions of Application posted on the website of the DO School www.thedoschool.org. The DO School Innovation Lab GmbH has the right to share any personal data and information of applications with its partner organizations as necessary for the preparation, implementation and documentation of the program. Parts of the program delivery will be performed by the DO School Innovation Lab GmbH.
5. Applicable Law and Forum
5.1 These Conditions of Application and applications are governed by German law.
5.2 In case of dispute, the applicant accepts the exclusive jurisdiction of German Courts in Hamburg, Germany.
